In Depth Review & Giveaway of TideWe DeepWade Wader

Duck hunting waders are probably the second most important piece of equipment a water fowler can have next to a shotgun. When selecting a pair of waders there are a number of things to think about from breathable to neoprene, insulated to non-insulated, and even the camo pattern where you will be hunting. There is one pair of waders in my mind that covers anywhere you want to waterfowl hunt in the US; the TideWe Deepwade Waders.

Lets take an in depth look at the TideWe Deepwade Waders and why I love them so much. I first received a pair of these waders back in 2024. I received a pair because I introduced an employee to a contact at Veil Camo for the Avayde pattern on the waders. I have since used the waders in a ton of hunts from early season teal to late season ducks on sheet water. From those hunts I have come to love these top 5 features.

  1. Front Zipper – The front zipper design on these waders are my number 1 feature because it makes getting them on an off so much easier. The zipper is 100% waterproof and has a big pull tab. I haven’t had any issues with mine and no leaks in 2 years.
  2. Breathable Upper Design – I will always choose a breathable wader over a neoprene wader. Why you might ask? Well for one they are so much easier to move around in, sometimes neoprene waders give a claustrophobic feel to them. Then neoprene waders can be great for cold weather but not for warm early season hunts. Breathable waders work in both conditions. You just have to layer up with breathable waders in those late season cold hunts.
  3. Boot Design and Comfort – Over my waterfowl hunting career I have wore a lot of different waders and there have been so many boot designs but these are some of the best I have put on. The boots on these waders are 1600 g 3M insulated but with all that insulation the don’t carry the warmth like bigger rubber boot waders do. Having this design also allows them to have a much more aggressive tread pattern. If your like me you’ll appreciate this type of comfort and feature on those long walks in on public land hunts.
  4. Pockets – As waterfowls we like our stuff and I am no exception. There has got to be a place to put everything. Go Pro Batteries, Cell phones, shot shells these waders have a ton of pockets. My favorite set of pockets are the fleece lined hand warmer pockets because I don’t like to wear gloves unless I have to. They keep the hands warm and read at a moments notice.
  5. Reinforced Knee & Seat – I have wore the same Tidewe Deepwade Waders I have for over 2 years now. I have not had any leaks or issues with them. This is huge and I think its due to the durable knee and seat construction. Kneeling in cold water or wading through reeds taller than you the durability has stood the test of time.

Because of all these features and how well they have held up I give these waders a huge 5 star review in my book. Yeah there are probably better waders on the market and defiantly worse but how mine have performed have been great.
