Add More Outdoor Functionality to Your Vehicle

RuffTuff Seat Covers

When I turned 16 my hunting and fishing adventures changed forever. The reason is not that I became of age to hunt alone, or because I had a job but because I had my driver’s license. This license unlocked for me the ability to travel further from the 10 acres I grew up hunting or walking to.

I think back to the past and now I realize how important a vehicle is when traveling for adventures. I was as scatterbrained as my truck was cluttered. No cases on guns, no packs or storage totes. Now I have a case and a bag tote for everything. One of the most important pieces of gear I have in my vehicle besides the gun or tag is my Ruff Tuff Seat covers! You’re probably thinking why. Because they are more than seat covers, they are integrated with a unique storage system making it the easiest way to organize my gear, freeing up floor space.

I have had my Ruff Tuff custom seat covers for over a year now and I really don’t know what I did without them. My seat covers feature a special ops package that I feel is crucial for any outdoorsman. The special ops package is a system that is integrated into the two front seat covers that feature 2 scabbard slots to carry and protect long guns (Shotgun, Muzzleloader, Rifle), 4 cargo pockets, and a Molle system on each seat cover back.

The 2 scabbards keep any long gun at the ready on any adventure. If you’re like me and a fly fisherman it works well to hold fly rod tubes. Just a bonus! The 4 cargo pockets are awesome in organizing other small gear pieces. I like to store optics, ammo, and TP/wipes in mine.

The molle system also allows me to add and customize even more storage. I have done this with some additional products from 3VGear. They make packs that specifically attach to molle systems. I added a First Aid kit pouch, an Extra Electronic pouch, and an extra pouch for future use, super nice to have.

In addition to the backs of each seat, there are options to add a pistol pouch or electronics pouch to the front of the seat cover. I have both options, a pistol pouch on the driver side and an electronic pouch on the passenger side seat. It comes in handy for my wife’s phone.

These seat covers are now essential to just about everything that I do outdoors. If you’re looking for a seat cover to help organize your gear for your outdoor adventures you should check out The Spec Ops packages from Ruff Tuff.
