A while ago I reached out to GForce Arms. I am not really sure how I even came across them. The reason I wanted to reach out was because I love helping out new brands and GForce arms was a relatively new and very small brand.
In this video I am testing the GForce Arms GF12AR Shotgun. The GF12AR is a 12 Gauge AR Style Shotgun. It comes with two five round magazines and is a lot of fun to shoot. In this video I shoot a bunch of different rounds through this shotgun to see what performs the best. Below is a list of the Different Rounds that I shot through this AR Style Shotgun. This is probably one of the best budget AR Shotguns on the Market.

I like to wear hearing protection and glasses in all of my videos that include a firearms. It’s important to protect your vision and hearing no matter how old you are. The hearing protection I am using is the AXIL 360 Performance Hearing Aids. For eyewear I am wearing basic sunglasses here but no matter what you need to somehow protect your eyes. Below will walk you through a full recap, specs of the whole test and what ammo I used on each test.
Testing Recap
Remington Sportsman’s High Speed Steel | 2 3/4″ | #6’s | 1365 fps | Low Brass – Did not cycle at all. One Shot and would not eject the shell. (5 Total Shots)
Winchester Heavy Game Loads | 2 3/4″ | #4’s | 1255 fps | Low Brass – 2 Rounds Cycled, rest all did not cycle (5 Total Rounds).
Herters (Cab/BP Brand) | 3″ | #2’s | 1550 fps – No issues at all. Cycled Flawlessly. This is what I was using for snow-goose hunting and no issues.
Winchester Super X Turkey Loads | 2 3/4″ | #5’s | 1260 fps | High Brass – Cycled 3 Rounds Perfectly. No issues at all.
Herters Pheasant Loads | 2 3/4″ | #4’s |1220 fps | High Brass – These rounds despite my assumption based on fps they all cycled through the gun flawlessly. 25 Rounds through the gun.
Herters Home Defense | 2 3/4″ | 00 Buck | 1200 FPS | High Brass – Cycled 5 Rounds. One round didn’t pick up through the magazine, not sure what that issue was. I do not feel these rounds are 1200 fps. I think they are closer to 1300 fps.
